We are learning about SHAPES this term. さんかく sankaku are triangles.

We compared the さんかく sankaku of the historic village of しらかわご Shirakawago

with the brand new sahmri (South Australia Health & Medical Research Institute) building in Adelaide.

We found さんかく sankaku everywhere !

We made さんかく sankaku with our fingers, with our arms, and with our legs.

We found さんかく sankaku sandwiches and chips in our lunchboxes, and thought of lots

of other things that are さんかく sankaku : shark teeth, volcanoes, cat's ears,

Christmas trees, sword tips, witches' hats, and my personal favourite, Toblerone...!
